Benfica’s Walking Football Legends
As well at the SL Benfica Foundation, the sport of Walking Football has become a great success. The weekly training sessions, attended by men and women from Lisbon’s neighbourhoods are training right next to the iconic Estadio da Luz.
As well at Benfica, the sport offers the participants the opportunity to improve health conditions and to take part in social activities.
At the 8th #Morethanfootball EFDN Conference, which took place in March 2017 in Lisbon at the Stadium of SL Benfica, the conference delegates had the fantastic opportunity to play a match of Walking Football against the SL Benfica Walking Football Foundation team, getting to know the beautiful game of Walking Football in practice.
