EFDN Walking Football Practitioner’s Guide

EFDN Walking Football Practitioner’s Guide

The Walking Football Practitioner’s Guide assembles best practices, ideas and rules within various Walking Football programmes. Thereby, it creates a consolidated European methodology for Walking Football. The guide highlights how such innovative programmes can provide alternative interventions around health and well-being in communities and can bring organisations together to achieve a common goal.

The Walking Football Practitioner’s Guide has been created to promote three key objectives:

  • Increase participation in sport, physical activity and voluntary activity
  • Raise awareness about the health and well-being benefits of an active lifestyle
  • Provide the sporting community with a user-friendly guide on how to implement walking football and walking sport programmes within the community

The Practitioner’s Guide can now downloaded here.

The development of the Practitioner’s Guide was supported by the Erasmus+ Sport.
